ABOUT

An independent artist from North Orange County, California, J Pollock, the sole woman behind Civility Stint, has loved music since she was a child, writing her own songs since she was 9 years old. A youth choir member turned multi-instrumentalist, J has spent a decade performing music and over half a decade doing music production. She strives to use her platform as an artist to create opportunities for those underrepresented and marginalized within music and beyond.

STATEMENT OF INCLUSION

CIVILITY STINT is J Pollock, a queer woman of Latine heritage who is emboldened to express herself through her art. Civility Stint is about equity, fairness, and inclusion. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, and all other forms of unjust, hateful discrimination and bigotry are not welcome within the CS musical sphere and community.
